Do you use Google Scholar as one of your research tools?
You can set your Google Scholar preferences in the browser to link to library articles, so that even when you're off the NPS network, you can link through and login to access them.

Go to Google Scholar

  1. Click on the "hamburger" icon (the three lines) in the upper left hand corner
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Library links
  4. Search for "naval postgraduate"
  5. Check the box for Get it @NPS Knox Library
  6. Save

Now, do your search, and in the search results

  1. You will see the Get It link on the right for items where the library has the full text
  2. Click it
  3. Once you're linked through to the record, click the link under "Full text availability"
  4. Sign in with your NPS credentials when prompted
  5. The link should take you to the database that has the article

These settings will stick if your cookies are enabled in your browser. They are usually turned on by default. If not, here's how to enable cookies. You will need to do this process for each browser you use.
